Hello home educating families,
I’m Pippa Prosser and I run Brookside Art Shed, an art and pottery studio near Bishops Itchington. I am offering 5-week pottery courses (for ages 6+) to run throughout the year. The next course dates are:
Friday 14th November to 12th Decemeber
10 am – 12.30 pm
The sessions will be small, calm and relaxed (max 12 children, ages 6–18). We’ll focus on hands-on, child-centred making — learning basic techniques like pinching, coiling, slab work and decoration. Along the way we’ll dip into a bit of art history, explore pottery from different cultures, and maybe even try processing some wild clay for fun!
Parents do need to stay on site for safeguarding reasons, but there’s a separate room where you can hang out or work.
