If you are retired or semi-retired and live in Leamington, Warwick or surrounding areas, we can offer you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of enjoyable social mental and physical activities. Our WDu3a (as we are known) has grown to over 900 members in over 25 years since we were formed and new members are welcome. Today there is possibly a greater need amongst early as well as established retirees to find a channel for their energy and enthusiasm and Warwick District u3a may be the channel that you have been looking for. For those of us who are now in our 'third age' we are re-discovering (or perhaps discovering for the first time in our lives) what fun learning can be whilst making new friends at the same time.
Warwick District u3a is currently running more than 80 wide-ranging group activities from knitting, walking, computing and painting, to languages, philosophy and local history. New groups are frequently being formed. See our website for more information.
