Almost all work is in rural locations with corresponding difficult access and mostly from standing or kneeling for the duration. Own transport usually needed.
Need to have boots and suitable clothing for sometimes dirty jobs. Bring your own lunch and drink and something to sit on. Come and go when you want to there is no attendance requirement. There are spare tools of most sorts. All volunteers are insured through The Conservation Volunteers (TCV)
