Based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, Motionhouse is an internationally acclaimed touring dance company founded in 1988. We offer regular term-time classes and holiday intensives for children aged 3-18 and classes for adults from beginner level to intermediates and the over 60s.
Our term-time classes are suitable for all abilities and take place in our studio in Spencer Yard, Leamington Spa. These classes give young people and adults interested in dance the chance to explore our style, learn new dance skills and be creative. Classes are informal, energetic and fun. Open to anyone with an interest in dance, no matter what level of experience.
For young dancers who are keen to explore dance further, Motionhouse Youth is an exciting dance company for 14-19 year olds - a unique opportunity for ambitious young dancers with existing skills to work with our professional dancers and create exciting choreography for performance. The company meets every Friday for a two hour session: a dynamic technique class and a fun devising process, creating dance pieces for performance.
