Playbox Theatre is a not-for-profit arts organisation working with young people aged 3-19 yrs across a range of arts forms based at our unique theatre The Dream Factory in Warwick. Playbox Theatre offers extensive training across a range of arts for young people aged 3-19 yrs. Founded in 1986 Playbox gives young people the opportunity to immerse themselves in a challenging and creative setting where confidence self-esteem and creative thought is the central focus. Our training programme includes: acting; physical theatre; film-making; digital media; screen acting; Shakespeare; stage combat; creative writing; musical theatre; radio recording and voice-over; technical theatre and more. We also have an extensive production programme with work performed at our theatre as well as national and international tours. Playbox Theatre also has a thriving division in nearby Stratford-upon-Avon where 100s young people train weekly. Our young artists push boundaries creating original work debating our ever-changing world exploring values concerns imagination and, more importantly, their dreams.
