Kenilworth Twinning Association exists to foster links between Kenilworth and its twin towns, Bourg-la-Reine in France and Eppstein in Germany, and Roccalumera in Sicily. Every year a group from one or more of those towns comes to Kenilworth for a few days and a group from Kenilworth visits one or more of them. Accommodation is with local families (who often become good friends) and activities such as excursions and meals together are laid on.
The only cost to the visitor is transport and a "subvention" of £30. Bourg-la-Reine is a pleasant suburb in the Paris built-up area. Eppstein is in the country near Frankfurt. Roccalumera is a seaside town in eastern Sicily. In between visits KTA organises social events for its own members.
