Since 1980, HMC has been helping everyone who enjoys walking, climbing and other mountain activities to get outside with other like-minded people, find new places to explore, and experience some magical moments. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned walker or climber, we can provide the support you need to get the most out of the great outdoors. From our regular day walks to our monthly meets and our range of other activities, there are plenty of ways to start and join in.
We are an active and friendly club of around 70 members, based at The Plough Inn in Hinckley, Leicestershire. We offer a warm welcome to walkers, climbers and mountaineers of all abilities, who share our enthusiasm for the outdoors. So if you love the great outdoors and enjoy meeting people, why not give us a try? You're welcome to join us on any of our activities to see whether HMC is for you.
