Activity for girls aged 4 - 18 years. Meets Tuesdays in term time 4-10 years 5.15 pm - 7.45 pm and 10-18 7.00 pm - 8.30 pm We are a Christian organisation attached to Polesworth Christian Fellowship. Girls' Brigade is an international and national organisation. The 2nd Polesworth Company is based at St John's Church New Street Birchmoor Tamworth Staffs B78 1AE We provide fun and friendship. The girls gain badges for various activities undertaken such as craft games educational projects and various fun activities. The Company aim to do a weekend away each year at an Adventure Centre.
There is a dropped kerb into the building and there is disabled toilets.
This group has been going for 31 years and has recently moved from the Polesworth School to St John's Church Centre in Birchmoor. We have well trained leaders who have come up through the organisation and are all trained in child safety first aid food hygiene. Risk assessments are in place and safety procedures. All staff are DBS registered.
