People in Action offers Residential Care Services and specialises in providing non-nursing care and support for individuals who have profound learning disabilities and substantial additional needs such as autism spectrum disorders Sensory Impairments physical disabilities complex epilepsy and health needs. We work closely with other professionals individuals and their significant others to ensure that a holistic approach to supporting people is achieved. A total communication approach is used within the services. We aim to promote individuals independence by supporting people to make choices about all aspects of their lives resulting in a service that is responsive and person centred. People in Action is not only an organisation that invests in its customers but it's also an organisation that invests in its staff. Our own Training Department focuses on nurturing and developing staff skills in a blended learning environment. Also all of our carers go through pre-employment screening including DBS check.
