Living as independently as possible is very important to a persons Health and Wellbeing, but sometimes the simplest task can become difficult. Seeing a relative, loved one or neighbour struggling can make you feel helpless. An Assessment within their own home can help tackle these issues with advice on possible solutions and providing of self purchasing equipment if required.
During the initial assessment we can establish the needs of the customer and how these can be met, as an example, these are some of the challenges we have encountered. Possible Issues:
- Help around the home/companionship/shopping or trips out and about.
- Mobility around the home and out and about.
- Concerns with being able to contact someone in an emergency.
- Safety, particularly if they have memory issues or the onset of Dementia and could be leaving the property or getting up at night and placing themselves at risk.
