Patient support group - run by patients, for patients who have a Stoma either Illiostomy, Collostomy or Urostomy.
The group meets every second month; January, March, May, July, September and November. Meetings take place in the Baptist Church Hall, Manor Court Road, Nuneaton, CV11 5HU 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
The group is a great place to meet other Ostomates from the local area and a safe environment to discuss any issues you may have or to share your experiences. The group is also supported by professional nurses specialising in Stoma care. Each meeting speakers from the various Stoma supply companies attend to provide guidance and advice on all aspects of Stoma equipment and clothing. We are a friendly group with open access to anyone with a Stoma or contemplating surgery.
No issues with access to the hall. The group enables you to talk and question freely in the environment where everyone is in the same position.
