GamCare provides free, confidential information, advice & support for anyone affected by either their own gambling or someone else's gambling.

The National Gambling Helpline

We run the 24/7 National Gambling Helpline - freephone 0808 80 20 133, WhatsApp on 020 3031 8881, or via online chat at www.gamcare.org.uk. 

Adult Support

Local one-to-one support is delivered by our support partner Aquarius, referrals can be made via the Helpline or by contacting them directly on 0300 456 4293 or by emailing gambling@aquarius.org.uk.

Young People's Service

GamCare's Young People's service support young people affected by gaming or gambling harms. They work with 11-18 year olds or upto 25 years old with special educational needs. To find out more visit the Big Deal website

Money Guidance Service  

The Money Guidance Service (MGS) offers one-to-one budgeting and financial support for people who experience gambling harms. Referrals are made via the Helpline and structured support and practitioners, and we have referral pathways in place for clients in need of specialist debt advice.   

Way Forward 

Way Forward is an online support group for all women affected by another person's gambling. The group provides a safe and supportive space for women to share their experiences, find comfort, and empower one another.  Over six-weekly 1.5 hour sessions the group explores a number of topics with content shaped by women with lived experience.

Forum and Chatrooms 

GamCare’s Forum is an online message board available 24/7, providing a safe and secure place to explore your relationship with gambling. Our regular Chatrooms, are a safe space to talk about issues related to gambling harms with other people in similar situations, supported by one of our Advisers. 

Talk Ban Stop 

TalkBanStop brings together practical free tools and support which can help support people to control their gambling and maintain a successful recovery for anyone harmed by gambling. The partnership offers a mixture of personal support via GamCare’s trained Advisers, free access to Gamban blocking software which can be installed on multiple devices, and encouragement to register for the free self-exclusion scheme, GAMSTOP
