Hometrust Companionship Ltd provides companionship and practical, non-emergency support for adults, older people, and disabled people who want to stay connected, independent, and comfortable at home and in their local community.
Support can include friendly home visits, conversation, wellbeing check-ins, accompaniment to appointments or community activities, help with everyday errands, shopping support, planning social outings, and reassurance updates for family members or carers where agreed with the person receiving support.
The service is intended for people who may be living alone, feeling lonely or isolated, recovering from illness, living with a disability, or looking for regular social contact and light practical support. Hometrust aims to work in a person-centred way, agreeing each visit around the individual's routine, preferences, interests, communication needs and cultural background.
Hometrust is not an emergency or crisis service. It does not replace medical care, nursing care or regulated personal care unless the organisation confirms the required registration, insurance, staff checks and safe working arrangements for that activity. Where a request falls outside the service, Hometrust should signpost the person or family to an appropriate registered provider or urgent support route.
