At Unlock Psychology Ltd, we provide specialist, private gender dysphoria/incongruence diagnostic assessments for trans people over the age of 17 who are looking to start their medical transition. Dr Alastair Pipkin previously worked in an NHS Gender Identity Clinic, is a clinical psychologist and Registered Specialist in the Field of Gender Dysphoria with the UK Government Equalities Office, and has supported hundreds of trans and non-binary people along their transition journeys.
Our assessments follow WPATH guidelines and meet best practice standards. We will meet over at least three sessions to explore your gender, your journey thus far, your hopes and goals, your background including physical mental health, neurodiversity and your future plans. You will receive a full report which can support access to gender-affirming medical care.
We offer a free initial 20 minute consultation to discuss further. We can do in-person assessments at The Court House in Warwick town centre, or online via Zoom.
