Be Centred was founded in 2020 with the aim of providing a unique form of therapy to break down barriers, reduce stigma and to help people who find it difficult to engage with more traditional methods of support using the therapeutic power of horses. Based in the heart of Warwickshire we offer Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy to people across the West Midlands.

At Be Centred we are proud to be building a supportive and inclusive community where everyone feels safe and has a sense of belonging.  This includes anyone who visits the yard as well as our staff and most importantly our horses.  Based on feedback from our community, last year we introduced nature based therapy and NEW to 2026 we will also be offering traditional counselling sessions both in person and remotely to ensure that everyone who wants to be involved has the opportunity to be.

Our horses are at the centre of everything we do and we work hard to ensure their well-being and happiness.  Horses are incredible creatures and are amazing co-facilitators due to their social, empathetic and non-judgemental nature.  You can meet our horses on ‘Our Team’ page and learn more about their individual characters and personalities as well as getting an introduction to the newest member of our team - Connie - who is in training to work as an Animal Assisted therapy dog.

We are lucky to be surrounded by the most amazing natural space at our home base and we will continue to welcome people here for sessions. This year we are also going to be getting out across the region to explore other beautiful spaces and to expand the area we cover.

Be Centred CIC is a not for profit organisation and only charges what is needed to cover running costs.  We take a means tested approach which enables us to ensure that everyone can receive the support that they need.  Please get in touch to discuss your individual needs.
