Dewar Close is situated on the outskirts of Rugby in the village of Bilton. The home offers respite care, short stays and long-term care for older people.
Designed as three households, each household has a living area with a lounge, dining area and kitchenette where people can make their own snacks and drinks and staff will always be on hand to prepare hot refreshments if requested. There is also a hair salon offering unisex hairdressing and manicures, and a cafe. The open living area is a central hub for each household where people like to get together and socialise with other residents, family and friends. You'll often find our regular exercise classes or activities happening in the living area - or they might be outside because we like to make the most of the garden. The large, secure gardens have seating areas, planted spaces and raised beds where residents and staff grow fruit and vegetables. There's also our side-by-side bike which has its own bike track in the garden.
The home's Lifestyle Coaches plan a range of activities including regular outings and day trips, and will always do their best to ensure that you can continue to do the things that you have always done. As part of our activity provision, WCS Care also employs dedicated Community Musicians who deliver one-to-one or group music-based activities. And our Memory Maker minibus provides regular, local trips for residents, including those who need to use a wheelchair. We invite relatives to join our trips so families can make new memories together.
