Sycamores is situated in Sydenham, on the edge of Leamington Spa and provides long term residential care for older people and people living with a dementia.
Sycamores has been designed as three separate households with the ground floor providing a home for 10 people, while the middle and top floors are home to up to 13 people each and can be accessed by a lift. Each household has a living area with a lounge, dining area and kitchenette where people can make their own snacks and drinks and staff are able to help with the preparation of hot refreshments. The open living area is a central hub for each household where people like to get together and socialise with other residents, family and friends. You'll often find our exercise classes or activities happening in the living area - or we might be outside making the most of our garden.
The large garden includes paved areas, lawn and bedding plants as well as a cycle track for the home's side-by-side bike. The home's Lifestyle Coach plans a range of activities including regular outings and day trips, and they'll always do their best to ensure that you can continue to do the things that you have always done. There is also a beauty salon offering unisex hairdressing and manicures.
The Sycamores use electronic care planning to capture care notes for each resident. This system includes our relatives' gateway, which, with consent, gives relatives access in real time to their loved one's care record from anywhere with an internet connection.
